Note: J-133 is my inventory # only. This was bought by a large company as a spare, got engraved and never used.
Just sat in a tool room cabinet over the years with other air tools but were checked yearly for operation and certification. NOTE: Since I have more than 1 of these the one you receive may have a different owner # engraved on it than the photo here shows. All are the exact same except the inventory tracking # engraved on them.
Spindle is standard 3/8-24 thread. Unique lever safety trigger you slide it back a little then push down on it to use it. The inlet is 1/4 NPT.
These grinders are very powerful and should be used with a full flow fitting such as a 3/8" or 1/2" body with the 1/4 NPT tool inlet. It will still work with a standard smaller body 1/4 fitting, but raw power would be reduced some. There are engravings on the tool from a tool room inventory.
I acquired these with some stuff I bought and this company always certified their tools yearly and put their tags on them for reference. Last checked in 2022 and sat in a tooling cabinet since. You will need a spanner pin wrench, or snap ring pliers about. 700 on center for the spindle retaining nut to change abrasive discs. Aluminum backing plate threads on and off the 3/8-24 spindle. You need a thin 5/8 wrench to unscrew it if needed. Allen Hex key 3/16 included to hold spindle.This is a Industrial tool built like a tank. Exhaust ring collar is adjustable at the front of the tool.
